I've been working out on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:00 am for the past two weeks. This is the middle of week three. It's amazing how being healthy can put you in such a better mood. It just makes everything more exciting, even when I have to drag myself out of bed. I hope to get my body nice and toned. It's not like I'd die if it didn't happen, it's just nice to set a goal for myself and work towards it. It makes me feel accomplished. I have already lost three pounds, which could actually be more. I didn't weigh myself the first week.
I have also joined the 10-week program, Walk This Weigh, with UCO. You get a pedometer and record your steps each day, with a goal of 10,000 a day. Of course, there are incentives for reaching so many steps throughout the program, but I still think the overall just being aware of how much you exercise and pushing yourself to do more is awesome. I plan to hopefully post my daily or weekly numbers, so I can look back at what I have done. There is also a journal with the program for you to make goals and record your progress. It's very cool!

At church, we've been doing a series called "The Vow". It's been amazing. It has really helped me to realize how my marriage is much like our relationship with God. I can't wait for the next message. Two more left!
